Review native update notices and licence rights
Open the System workspace, Core updates & cron, then Orbit update manager. Use Check Orbit for updates to retrieve the reviewed release and current licence eligibility. The hourly emailabiller:updates-check task uses the existing scheduler to supply administrator update notices; retain the normal every-minute schedule:run cron.
Orbit Area → Installations & updates shows the installation's reported version and reviewed release. Licences & installations stays readable while signed in, including an expired licence or a session requiring fresh password confirmation. Downloads and update preparation still require actual current authorization. Subscription update access and lifetime purchased-version rights differ; a selected-release update purchase does not create a second product-use licence.
Download and verify a complete release
Record the running version and signed release identity. Read the exact target release's backup, migration and maintenance instructions. Create and verify a complete backup, including the original encryption key, private licence identity, database, configuration and uploaded files. Test recovery on a restricted copy before changing live financial records.
Download and verify release requires the current administrator password, MFA and fresh online licence/version checks. It retains a checksum-verified complete archive privately. Verify for installation rechecks the current catalogue and licence rights, verifies the whole inventory against the already trusted publisher and prepares a new private stage. Compatibility checks retain the required Composer and migration boundaries. These actions do not replace the running installation or execute downloaded PHP.
Promote through the reviewed maintenance procedure
A verified full-source preparation requires controlled complete-release promotion by the administrator. Preserve configuration, encryption and installation keys, local accounts and all business data. Coordinate persistent workers, maintenance and the web PHP/OPcache refresh required by the release instructions. Do not extract a new installer over a running database, edit signed hashes, run development updater commands or mix individual old and new executable files.
The independent signed-delta workflow retains its own queued execution, licence, backup and rollback checks. A complete signed-source ZIP is not a delta package, and a preparation is not a one-click partial-code update. File rollback alone does not restore database or financial contents. If interrupted, retain maintenance markers, snapshots and private journals and follow the exact recovery procedure.
After promotion, check the actual running version, fresh online licence, staff access/MFA, existing invoice/payment records, attachments, automation and provider outcomes. Refresh Orbit Area after the product reports its running version.
Move to another domain
Prepare HTTPS and the destination host, keep the old installation restricted and use the reviewed licence-transfer process. A backup or domain change does not authorise simultaneous production copies. Verify the destination and external routing before retiring the original.
Install and manage premium addons
Premium addons require EmailaBiller 1.3.8 or later, within the package's declared compatibility range. Upgrade through an authorised complete release first; addon purchases do not grant a newer main-product version automatically.
Open Addons in the administrator menu to view installed premium addons or open the EmailaBiller library. The Orbit Addons library contains premium addons only. Free modules remain available through Modules in your installation.
When ordering, select the existing main EmailaBiller licence that will run the addon. One-time access or each monthly paid period belongs to that original licence. Confirmed payment is required; downloading or receiving another customer's ZIP does not transfer access. Orbit Area → Addons retains the purchase, main-licence reference, expiry and eligible download or monthly-renewal action. Monthly renewals use an invoice and confirmed payment; no automatic debit is implied.
Install the original publisher-signed ZIP through the protected module installer. It verifies the complete package, compatibility and current addon rights before installing or enabling code. Premium actions recheck the main licence and paid addon access online. Keep HTTPS access to the licence service and Emaila Orbit available; an unavailable verification service pauses premium actions without authorising an offline copy. Free modules and recovery procedures retain their own existing controls.
An approved domain transfer retains the original main licence and its addons. Activate the replacement installation through the normal transfer procedure; the old installation identity must no longer be used. There is no separate addon activation key. If installation is refused, check the selected main licence, approved domain, product version, paid period and publisher signature rather than editing package files or licence data.
