Catalogue and prices
Open TLD prices & registrars with catalogue.manage. Assign an enabled/tested registrar source, select the configured cost currency and markup/conversion policy, then preview changes before applying. The available import, manual-price, source-selection, bulk-edit and override-reset tools have distinct meanings; inspect which source and local override will win.
Store registration, transfer and renewal prices for supported whole-year terms. A per-term provider total must not be multiplied as if it were an annual unit cost. Transfer can be a single operation price rather than a repeating annual price. A cheap retail override cannot make a provider support a discontinued operation, premium purchase or unsupported registry term.
Import guardrails
Incomplete, malformed or changing provider pagination must not overwrite confirmed prices. Confirm cost currency and whether provider prices include account tax; the product must not guess provider tax treatment. A local tax/conversion policy applies only under its configured accounting rules. Preview a representative regular TLD, multi-year term and transfer before publishing.
Customer search
/domains checks the exact name and lists alternatives that have actually been reported available by an enabled verified registrar. Registered, premium, invalid or unconfirmed suggestions are excluded. Show 10 more continues the bounded suggestion cursor without repeating earlier rows. A missing valid retail price shows Request a quote.
Selection performs the actual domain search/eligibility check again before cart insertion. Cached suggestions expire and are bound to domain, term, currency, hostname, business and storefront. A public PKNIC not-found result still uses the manual registration workflow; it cannot enable automatic checkout.
Troubleshoot
If a term is unavailable, inspect both its active retail price and the exact registrar's term capability. If all suggestions fail, test the configured read-only registrar connection and inspect rate limits rather than treating errors as available names. If the provider returns premium or eligibility requirements, route the customer to review rather than selling an ordinary fixed-price registration.
