Module and release scope

This guide covers ISPmanager Hosting Control Panel 1.0.0, Extension API 1, from the reviewed product source. Its declared core range is 1.3.6–1.3.99. Use the matching released core and signed provider package; a version label alone does not install the required contracts. Source availability does not mean the module is bundled in every currently downloadable product, installed on your server, enabled or certified for your merchant/server account. Nothing in this guide enables a provider or changes your existing connections.

Open System → Hosting servers (newer source may group these as Payments, Domain services or Hosting services). Install the reviewed signed package through Modules & addons or the integration workspace's Install tab, enable the module separately, add an account/connection, save its own credentials, run its stated Test and explicitly enable the connection. Saving or retesting disables the connection until you enable it again. Start with the provider's test environment where supported; otherwise use an isolated account or server.

Exact connection fields

These are the fields declared by this module. Secret values are entered privately and encrypted by the application. Defaults are configuration hints, not approved live merchant settings. Internal fields are populated by the module and are not operator-editable.

API 1 server module for ISPmanager 6 Lite/Pro/Host user templates and website provisioning. Installed disabled, with no connection or operator data. ISPConfig is a different control panel and uses a separate module.

Configure

  1. Enable this module, then create a Hosting servers connection.
  2. Enter a plain server hostname or IP and HTTPS port (normally 1500). The TLS certificate must be valid for that hostname; verification cannot be disabled. Do not include /ispmgr, credentials, a scheme or query string in the hostname.
  3. Supply an administrator/reseller login and password with permission for preset, user, webdomain, user.edit, site.edit, user.suspend, user.resume and user.delete. Configure API/IP access restrictions in the panel and firewall. Authentication uses authinfo in the HTTPS form body, not the URL.
  4. Enter a Site IPv4 or IPv6 address actually assigned to this server. It is used when creating a site. Create the desired user templates first, run the read-only connection test and explicitly refresh package inventory. Products use the exact template name.
  5. Configure default nameservers if required. Enable account writes and each automatic lifecycle operation separately; all are initially disabled.

Operation behaviour

Supports shared hosting user creation, current site.edit website creation, synchronization, suspension, unsuspension, template changes and deletion. It does not use the vendor's deprecated webdomain.edit creation form. New sites use PHP-FPM and initially omit SSL certificate issuance; DNS and certificate readiness can be completed in the panel. The selected server must support that PHP mode.

Creating a user and creating its site are separate operations. Before submitting the website, the newly reserved login and chosen template must be visible. Confirmation then requires the exact username, owned domain, template and recognized account state. A partial create or timeout does not trigger another user creation. An unknown icon/status shape is left pending for review; it is never assumed active.

The API may vary with installed ISPmanager plugins and edition. If a function, template or PHP mode is unavailable, its operation fails visibly and remains unconfirmed. Reseller account creation, host clusters, VPS/server lifecycle, panel login links and password changes are not included. The test reads catalogue/account data only. Use a dedicated test panel for write acceptance testing. No webhook is needed.

The module confirms control-panel records, not public website uptime, DNS propagation or completion of all server-side service reloads. Responses are limited to 2 MiB; TLS verification is mandatory, compression/redirects are refused and write retries are disabled.

Provider documentation

Termination also requires a fresh API read showing that the exact remote hosting account is suspended. A local billing status alone does not authorize deleting an active remote account.
